I’m Przemek Mroczek. I live in Warsaw, Poland.

I’ve spent 13+ years building backend systems — distributed architectures, data pipelines, and the infrastructure nobody thinks about until it breaks. Currently at Bamboo Health, previously PayPal and Fresha.

I previously worked on FogBreak, a risk intelligence platform for prediction markets. It explored trust scores, whale tracking, and bot detection for Polymarket traders on top of a real-time trade-processing pipeline.

I’m also finishing an MSc in Computer Science with an AI specialization, which mostly means I spend too much time thinking about how LLMs and graph networks intersect with financial data.

Outside of work, I run a self-hosted homelab that does more than it should, used to play chess competitively (9th place at the Najdorf International Tournament, Warsaw 2015), and occasionally make music under the name Tony Eagle.

I write about backend systems, self-hosting, AI, and whatever I’m going deep on this month. The common thread is usually: I found something that bothered me, built something to fix it, and wrote about what I learned.
